Rob Amir
Managing Director
Rob Amir serves as a Managing Director of Clear Scope Partners. Prior to joining Clear Scope Partners, Mr. Amir served as a Director in the Motion Pictures Business Development Group at Sony Pictures Entertainment. During his five year tenure at Sony Mr. Amir was a key member of the finance team which provided greenlight analysis and industry research to studio management. In this capacity Mr. Amir evaluated hundreds of films ranging in investment size of up to $300 million for financial viability and structure. Mr. Amir’s responsibilities also included using historical data and research reports to project industry trends. Additionally, Mr. Amir focused on local language films originating in emerging and mature markets outside the U.S. Prior to joining at Sony, Mr. Amir spent seven years in Real Estate Investment Banking with Wall Street firms including JPMorgan Chase and Banc of America.
Mr. Amir holds a degree in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and a degree in Management from UCLA."
